AALA Alumni membership provides important benefits to keep retirees connected to information, not only about what’s happening in the District, but very importantly to keep current to changes or modifications to their health benefits. The annual membership campaign is conducted during the month of August, but retirees may join at any time. Membership is effective for one academic year and must be renewed annually.
AALA Alumni – Associate Member
AALA Alumni, or Associate Members, are administrators at all levels who have retired and want to keep current with District activities and remain connected with their retired colleagues and friends. AALA Alumni do not have voting rights.
Associate member benefits include the following:
Participation in special alumni luncheons
Participation in other AALA functions and activities
Subscription to the weekly Update, with information about health benefits and Medicare
Discounted voluntary insurance, including auto and homeowners, and others
