I would like to thank and congratulate our school leaders and local district administrators for helping us achieve a record-high graduation rate of 77 percent in 2015-16! This official figure, which the California Department of Education recently released, is 2 percentage points higher than the preliminary graduation rate we initially calculated and celebrated.
