Camping, flying commercially, experiencing tide pools, playing on the beach, meeting dignitaries, visiting museums, exploring the cultural gems the city has to offer, all are amazing opportunities the District provides to many students, some for the first time. On the surface, field trips are an excellent vehicle to expand the four walls of the classroom. However, a field trip gone wrong can potentially be a huge liability for an administrator if the proper authorizations are not in place prior to the trip taking effect!
