Sisters and Brothers,
SEIU is negotiating with LAUSD today at 1pm. We remain optimistic and hopeful a settlement will be reached today. AALA/Teamsters stand in solidarity with SEIU Local 99 and calls on the District to bargain in good faith and reach a fair agreement with them.
Only the superintendent may close schools and offices and tell employees not to report to their work sites. Consult https://schoolupdates.lausd.org/ for the latest updates.”
Presently, the district’s message to employee’s is: “Employee’s who normally work at a school, region office or the Beaudry Central office may report to their normal work location…”
