Los Angeles school officials announced Sunday night that a tentative agreement has been reached with the administrators union, an important step toward averting a planned Tuesday strike that would shut down the nation’s second-largest school system.
The tentative agreement with Associated Administrators of Los Angeles was the second milestone of the day. In the early morning, the district and the teachers union announced a tentative agreement.
